2022-24 Local Government Grants and Subsidies Program
The 2022–24 LGGSP is a competitive, application-based funding program totalling $85.859 million in available budget.
The aim of the grant program is to provide funding assistance to support councils to deliver priority infrastructure and essential services that meet the identified needs of their communities.
All successful 2022–24 LGGSP projects have been endorsed and approved. Endorsed projects were due for completion by 30 June 2024 and remaining projects are subject to individual extensions of time approvals.
Applications are closed and the program is underway.
Reporting
Councils must comply with all reporting, record keeping and audit obligations in the Project Funding Agreement, which includes the provision of quarterly progress reports.
Use the eGrant portal to provide quarterly reports on endorsed projects.
The Project Completion Report and any supporting documents must be provided to the department by the nominated due date.
